2014- 2017

During these years I was still actively working in the licensing and design industry. Royalties were good but it was becoming evident that this very lucrative part of my art career was coming to an end due to less manufacturing of products made in China and more artists entering the arena. I continued to maintain the clients I had and decided to rent an outside studio space in an effort to see what might be next for me. I painted furniture, offered workshops and tried my hand at a variety of artistic endeavors. During this time my good friend and accomplished abstract artist, Audrey Phillips, joined me in renting the studio space. I will always be grateful for that time we shared together. I learned all about painting abstracts and all about painting in acrylics.
